How to apply for a place

Current students can apply through the FROG site, which is in the careers guidance section of the useful links

Students applying from other schools can do so by submitting the application form found on the Oaks website www.oaks6thform.co.uk

An application form can also be posted to you; please contact the Academy on 0121 464 5191 or email enquiry@shenleyacademy.org.uk

Students interested in the Birmingham City FC Football Development and Education programme should also apply using the Oaks application form which should be returned to community@bcfc.com  or post to the Community Dept, Birmingham City FC Community Trust, St. Andrew’s Stadium, B9 4RL.

All applicants are invited for an interview, where your subject interests and future plans will be discussed. References are checked then Initial enrolment takes place on GCSE results day to check that course entry requirements have been met. Final enrolment is confirmed after the initial induction period which depends on excellent attendance and satisfactory progress in early assessments.

Shenley Academy operates a Sixth Form for a total of 250 students. 140 places overall will be available for Year 12 (the year 12 ‘capacity’) for its own students progressing from Year 11. It will not admit external applicants unless undersubscribed by its own students.
