In line with the introduction of new legislation (the General Data Protection Regulation), we are contacting pupils and parents / carers to ensure we have the proper consent to hold any biometric data in compliance with the updated legal requirements.
A letter has been issued to your child this week and must be returned by Thursday 24th May 2018 otherwise any previously set up biometric data account for your child will be deactivated in order to comply with GDPR.
This will mean that until you return the completed consent form, your child will not be able to allocate funds to their meal account in school and if you wish for them to continue to purchase food from the school canteen, you will need to use ParentPay to top up your account.
For those of you who haven’t yet activated your ParentPay account, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for your ParentPay username and password.
