Sport
At Shenley we are fully committed to providing opportunities for students of all abilities. We do this through a variety of different types of activities ranging from sports fixtures for selected students to sports clubs and intra-school competitions for all who wish to be involved.
We work hard at delivering a sustainable programme of sport and have been recognised over a period of time for our excellent provision with a variety of awards and projects. These include:

Sports clubs are open to all students not just those who are selected for school teams.

Inter-school sport and fixtures
At Shenley, we compete across a range of sports that are listed below. Fixtures are played in local school leagues and cups, regional competitions, the Birmingham school games qualifying tournaments and city finals.

Intra-school sport and fixtures
As a faculty we organise and run an extensive programme of intra-school sport competition for which we have previously won a Youth Sport Trust award. The aim of it is to give every student the opportunity of playing competitive sport. Each tournament is open to all students regardless of ability.
